Anxiety, 9in X 12in, December 2017, mechanical pencil, fine point sharpie, I connected a lot to this piece and was able to bring in my own experiences of having anxiety to give my work emotion. Words I used were, anxiety, stress, nerves, overwhelming, tunnel vision, mental health, irrational fears, and people don't understand.
Japanese Cherry blossom, n/a, October 2017, clay, varnish, colored pencil,this piece was created using clay to build of the title and the blossoms were created using a stamping tool. These two techniques brought texture and another level of dimension to this piece.

I'm really proud of how this piece exemplifies how important dance is to me.
